1. Dwayne Paul

My Job

I am the AP Director.

My role is to oversee all learning, support, and day-to-day experiences within the provision.

This means I work closely with children and young people to make sure your voice is heard, your opinions matter, and your needs are supported. I am here to help you succeed, both in your education and personal development.

I also support the staff team to ensure you receive the best possible experience while attending AP. My aim is to create a positive, safe, and supportive environment where you can grow in confidence and achieve your goals.

What happens when you meet with me?

When you arrive at the AP, I will welcome you and show you around the environment, so you feel comfortable and settled. You will be introduced to the staff team and other pupils, helping you feel part of the group from day one.

My role is to support you by creating positive opportunities and guiding you towards a successful future. I will help you build confidence, develop new skills, and make progress both personally and academically.

Your wellbeing is very important. I want you to feel safe, happy, and supported always. When we meet, you are always encouraged to ask questions—there are no wrong questions. I will always do my best to give you clear answers, and if I don’t know something, I will find out for you.

This is your journey, and I am here to help you every step of the way.

I look forward to meeting you soon.
