As part of our commitment to supporting your personal and educational growth, we expect all students to adhere to these standards to ensure a productive and safe learning environment. This Code of Conduct is not just about rules; it’s about fostering a community where each student is respected, valued, and supported to achieve their full potential.
Our Values
- Respect: Treat everyone with kindness, consideration, and courtesy. This includes respecting yourself, others, property, and the learning environment.
- Responsibility: Take responsibility for your own actions, decisions, and learning. Make choices that are in your best interest and contribute to the wellbeing of others.

Expectations of Behaviour
To maintain a positive learning environment, we expect all students to:
- Follow Instructions:
- Listen to and follow instructions given by staff promptly and respectfully.
- Participate fully in class activities and maintain focus during lessons.
- Respect Others:
- Treat all students, staff, and visitors with respect
- Avoid using offensive, inappropriate, or discriminatory language.
- Never engage in bullying, harassment, or discrimination of any kind, whether in person or online.
- Maintain a Positive Attitude:
- Demonstrate a positive attitude towards learning, including a willingness to try your best and seek help when needed.
- Respect different opinions, ideas, and perspectives, even if they are different from your own.
- Be Punctual and Attend Regularly:
- Arrive on time for classes and activities. Punctuality is important for your success.
- Attend LTC regularly and inform staff promptly if you are unable to attend for any reason.
- Maintain a Safe and Clean Environment:
- Help keep the learning environment clean, tidy, and safe by disposing of litter responsibly and following any health and safety guidelines.
- Keep your hands and feet to yourself and avoid physical altercations.
- Respect LTC property and the property of others.
- Act Responsibly:
- Take responsibility for your actions
- Put your mobile phone away at the start of the session.
- Follow all school rules regarding uniform, equipment, and other resources.
- Work Hard and Be Prepared:
- Come to LTC with the necessary materials for learning.
- Complete all work to the best of your ability and submit it on time.
- Be Honest:
- Always be truthful and take ownership of your mistakes. Dishonesty, including cheating or plagiarism, is not acceptable.

Student Rights
As a student at LTC, you have the right to:
- Be treated with respect and dignity by everyone at LTC.
- Have your personal and learning needs addressed, with appropriate support provided.
- Be safe from bullying, discrimination, or harassment.
- Have access to a fair process if you feel you have been treated unfairly.
- Ask for support if you are struggling with behaviour, learning, or emotional issues.
