My Job

I am a Junior Instructor; I work between our Water Street site & Kettering Rugby Club site. My job is to support young people in lessons, activities and 1-to-1 sessions. I help with wellbeing, confidence and emotional support. I lead practical learning, gym sessions and life skills work. I make sure students feel safe, welcome and listened to.

What happens when you meet with me?

I will welcome you into the AP and help you settle in so you feel safe, calm and ready to begin. We will spend time getting to know each other by talking about your interests, what you enjoy, what you are good at, and anything you would like me to know that can help me support you better.

I will encourage you, listen to you and support you to take things at your own pace. Together, we may set small goals to help you make progress, build confidence and recognise your achievements. I will help you develop positive routines, stay motivated and feel proud of the effort you put in.

My aim is to make sure you feel comfortable, supported and ready for the session; while helping you feel more confident, independent and successful over time.
